Kauzo - Malbec
About
Cauzo Malbec is produced from sunny vineyards in Mendoza, and reflects the unique terroir of the region. The wine is produced using a combined fermentation method, which unites Malbec grapes from two vineyards, which are picked at different stages of ripening, which gives the wine complex and deep aromas, textures and flavors. The initial fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation in wooden barrels. The wine is aged for 8 to 12 months in used French oak barrels, and an additional 6 months in the bottle, reaching a refined and elegant character with a mesmerizing ruby red hue and rich aromas of black cherry, coconut, violets and blueberries. Combine this expressive malbec with slow-cooked ribs for a relaxed and atmospheric home date—put on a record and watch the flavors create a perfect harmony.
