Twins Bert and Faye Salomon are the ninth generation to manage the historic family winery, which since 1792 has been a pillar of quality wine production in the Wachau Valley, Austria. The winery, decorated with sustainable crops on many high terraces, offers a unique Riesling experience. The vines, some of which are over 25 years old, are planted on virgin volcanic gneiss soil in order to maintain the quality of the soil and the ecological balance of the vineyard. Van den Trassen, with wonderful aromas of apricot, pear and apple and honey for dessert, is a crisp and enjoyable wine, with tickling acidity and flavors of pome fruit and citrus zest. Imagine coming home after a long day, cutting yourself some cold cuts and cheese and opening this bottle. Just the thought of it is enough to leave the house with a smile!
